Gurukul learning extends beyond the classroom. Learners study, question, reflect and apply their understanding under an Acharya’s guidance. The teacher’s conduct is also part of the learning experience.
The booklet places the beginning of education within the family. Early values learned from parents connect with an Acharya’s guidance and the experience of Gurukul life. Families and teachers are partners in this process.
Subject knowledge matters, as does an understanding of how it can contribute to personal and shared wellbeing. Self-study, dialogue, purposeful work, service and responsibility belong within the educational experience.
The updated institutional booklet describes two Gurukul initiatives: one operational and another under construction. It also describes efforts to establish further centres in India. Share your requirements for centre-specific admission and residential information.
